Welcome to RentalViewer. By requesting or using our rental viewing service, you agree to the following terms.
1. The Service
RentalViewer is an independent service that attends rental viewings in Auckland on your behalf. We provide a video walkthrough (live or recorded) and a written summary with our observations on layout, light, noise, and general condition.
What we are not: We are not real estate agents, property managers, or professional building inspectors. We do not work for landlords or agents and cannot provide legally binding assessments or advice on tenancy agreements.
2. Booking and Payment
- How to book: You request a viewing by emailing us the listing link, suburb, and scheduled viewing time as described on our website.
- Pricing: Our current fees are clearly listed on our website: $49 for a recorded walkthrough, $69 for a live video call, and $180 for a multi-viewing pack. Prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
- Payment: Payment is required in advance to confirm your booking, unless otherwise agreed. We will send you payment instructions upon confirming availability.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
- If we are unable to attend the viewing due to circumstances on our side (e.g., last-minute cancellation by the agent), we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule.
- Refunds for client cancellations are at our discretion, but we will generally offer a full refund if you cancel at least [4 hours] before the scheduled viewing start time.
4. Your Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing the correct listing link, address, and viewing time. We cannot be held liable if incorrect information prevents us from attending.
- Communication: It is your responsibility to ensure you are available for a live video call at the scheduled time if you have chosen that option.
5. Limitations and Disclaimer
- Our feedback is based on a single, non-technical visit and represents our honest opinion. It is not a comprehensive building inspection or a guarantee of the property's condition.
- We are not liable for any decisions you make (e.g., applying for a tenancy, signing a lease) based on the information we provide.
- We are not responsible for any changes to the property after our visit or for any issues with the tenancy itself.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page.
